The Palace of the Parliament (Romanian: Palatul Parlamentului), also known as the House of the Republic (Casa Republicii) or the People’s House (Casa Poporului), is the seat of the Romanian Parliament, located on Dealul Spirii in Bucharest, the capital city.

The building stands 84 meters (276 ft) tall, extends 92 meters (302 ft) underground, and covers a floor area of 365,000 m² (3,930,000 sq ft), with a total volume of 2,550,000 m³ (90,000,000 cu ft). Weighing approximately 4.1 million tonnes (9 billion pounds), it is the heaviest building in the world and ranks as the third-largest administrative building globally.
